RYAN POLES MISSED OUT?! Bears Lose TWO Trade Targets + Montez Sweat’s $98M Future in Question

🚨🐻 The NFL trade deadline is heating up — and suddenly the pressure is on Ryan Poles and the Chicago Bears. Two players Chicago reportedly showed interest in are already off the board. 🔥 DeForest Buckner is headed to the San Francisco 49ers for a 2027 fourth-round pick. 😳 Quenton Nelson is headed to the Seattle Seahawks for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick. There is no confirmation that Chicago made formal offers for either player, and Buckner reportedly preferred a return to San Francisco. But the bigger question remains: How many opportunities can a 5-2 Bears team afford to watch other NFC contenders capitalize on before Ryan Poles makes a move of his own? Haize breaks down: 🚨 Whether Chicago missed a bargain on DeForest Buckner 💰 What Buckner’s fourth-round price could mean for the rest of the trade market 👀 Why Quenton Nelson going to Seattle directly impacts the Bears 🔥 Whether Khalil Mack or Josh Sweat should now become bigger priorities 🧠 Why Ryan Poles needs urgency without desperation 🏆 How aggressive a 5-2 contender should be before November 10 Then we turn to Monday Night Football. 😳 KYLER GORDON vs. JAXON SMITH-NJIGBA. Kyler Gordon has been an absolute weapon for Dennis Allen, recording FOUR sacks, two forced fumbles and five tackles for loss in only two games. But Seattle’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been one of the NFL’s most productive receivers, entering the matchup with 58 catches, 867 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Should Dennis Allen keep unleashing Gordon as a blitzer? Or does Chicago need him in coverage against Seattle’s top receiving weapon? 🔥 And finally, MONTEZ SWEAT IS BACK. Sweat has completed his two-game suspension, publicly apologized and is returning to Chicago’s defense. But the suspension also created major financial implications. Sweat is scheduled to carry a significant 2027 cap charge, while the remaining guarantees in his contract were reportedly invalidated because of the suspension. So now the question becomes bigger than Seattle: Has Montez Sweat played well enough to justify his massive Bears contract moving forward? Haize discusses: 🐻 Sweat’s return to Dennis Allen’s defense 💰 His $98 million contract 🚨 The flexibility Chicago could have after 2026 🔥 Whether the Bears proved they can generate pressure without him 👀 How Sweat’s return changes Kyler Gordon’s role 🏈 What Sweat needs to prove over the final ten games 🤔 Whether Ryan Poles could face a major offseason decision The Bears are 5-2. The NFC is getting stronger. The trade deadline is approaching. And Chicago has some BIG decisions coming. 🎙️ Subscribe to Chicago Bears Central with Haize for daily Bears news, analysis, rumors, reactions and fan discussion. 🐻 CHI-TOWN UP. BEAR DOWN.
