The Journey Behind Unbox Mindz

Unbox Mindz did not begin as a framework. It began with a question about myself. From being diagnosed with dyslexia at six years old to photography, the Air Force, engineering, design thinking, and eventually my graduate research, I spent much of my life trying to understand why I experienced and communicated with the world differently. Over time, the question changed. Instead of asking how I could fit within the box, I began asking what the box prevented me from seeing. My journey is the story of how those experiences led me toward a different way of understanding myself, other people, and the systems around us, and to the idea behind Unbox Mindz. Design for brains, not for boxes.
