Pilgrim’s Rest, Mpumalanga, South Africa! Ep 587

Our trip to Pilgrim’s Rest in Mpumalanga, South Africa was such a great experience and long overdue. The drive from Sabie was beautiful, even with the rain which actually added a bit of drama to the scenery. We made a stop at the Mac Mac Pools and Falls, and I’m so glad we did, it was absolutely stunning. The mist hung thick in some spots, giving everything an almost mystical vibe, but luckily it cleared by the time we reached the town. Walking down the main road was the best way to take it all in, there's just so much to see and soak up. Even visiting the cemetery and finding the Robber’s Grave felt like a little adventure of its own. Pilgrim’s Rest really left an impression on us, and if you’re ever in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit!
