But this might be Philippines most isolated town, since it lies on the largest island of Luzon, but is totally disconnected from the "mainland" as the locals call it by the towering Sierra Madre range. It is so isolated, that Emilio Aguinaldo called it his last capital of the First Philippine Republic!
