Sita charan. छठ व्रत के साथ कई मंदिरों (Temples) और जगहों की महत्ता जुड़ी हुई है. इस कड़ी में एक नाम बिहार के मुंगेर (Munger) का भी है. धार्मिंक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, रामायण (Ramayan) काल में माता सीता ने पहला छठ पूजन बिहार के मुंगेर में गंगा तट पर संपन्न किया था. इसके प्रमाण स्वरूप यहां आज भी माता सीता के अस्तचलगामी सूर्य और उदयमान सूर्य को अर्घ्य देते चरण चिह्न मौजूद हैं.
