KAT got replaced by KAT X????!!

it seems like original kat got temp removed by roblox OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS from KAT developer 14/08/2025 -- Hi everyone, a quick update on the current state of the game. The game is unavailable to play and removed from search results (As you may know). I am not clear on the nature of the reason the game has been taken down, but can speculate it could be related to a fraudulent dmca claim or violation of Roblox's new policies. I am working with Roblox to get this issue resolved but I have still not yet received any response on the situation. In the meantime I and others are working to ensure the game supports acceptable use policies, is stable, and to guarantee the game can be restored as soon as possible. No drastic removal of content should occur to the game. There are two other important topics to be addressed. First being the state of the game's currently defunct economy update. The ability to transfer items between users publicly was removed in the November of 2021 due to vulnerabilities in the game's programming, and a lack of overall support from Roblox. Those hoping on the promise that trading would be quickly restored were left disappointed as trading is still locked down ytd. I'd like to give an apology to those who had items frozen or their enjoyment of the game affected, as this was a drastic solution to this problem, and severely affected user quality of life. In the years following this more support for authoritative server-sided data serialization have made patching the game and restoring the flow of content more likely, options have been explored to prevent the economy from breaking down and to combat bad actors in the community. However the current plan is to re-release the economy with minimal changes. - Another subject to note is the trend of copies of the game. In particular there are those who use identical copies of the game's material from as far back as 2017. These are never authorized and while these can be beneficial (KAT originated as a coding exercise and took until January 2017 to phase out the bad bits), these games can be made with predatory intentions, and suffer from structural problems due to the extinct code they run on. While I cannot be the authority on what games you choose to play, I must deny my affiliation with any games that have "permitted use" or developers that claim to be affiliated with me. - That's all.
