Ceilings Are Going Up! Our Philippines Home Renovation: Update 6

Dates of this update covers Sept. 26 to Oct. 17. The wife and I have been bouncing around the Philippines. We became ninong and ninangs(god parents) at a wedding for the first time, flew down to South Cotabato, Mindanao for the first time with a brother-in-laws kids and mama, and 4 days in Puerto Princessa with one of my best brothers I met working in Qatar. I was selective on the days I picked to record at the house so that I can show you something new each time. Many of you may know that a lot goes on that you may not actually see. We know that the our new old home will be complete by the middle of next month which is fine. The timeframe that was set was pretty accurate. They said 180 working days and with what happens the next several weeks will be amazing no matter what the actual day they finish on. The communication and planning from our first meeting to now has been amazing. Our contractor has been stressed and under the weather recently and he has been powering through it. The wife want to go out and buy as much as possible of the small things like bathroom fixtures and stuff, and she realized how time consuming that was. Besides the water heaters for the bathrooms, she surrendered after getting towel racks, bidets, and hand rails for mama's bathroom. LOL! Our solar contractor is installing on Friday, that will be a separate video in itself. So enjoy this update, and soon enough our dream will be complete.
