We Drove 1100 KM From Bangalore to Goa & Back! | Shiroda, Ratnagiri, Chiplun & Goa

After exploring Chiplun, we continued our road trip towards Goa, and this turned out to be one of the most exciting parts of our entire journey. The drive from Chiplun to Goa took us through the beautiful Konkan landscape, with lush green surroundings, scenic roads and plenty of beautiful views along the way. After travelling for several hours, we finally reached Goa at around 9 PM and headed straight to our stay in Colva. We had booked our hotel through Airbnb, and after a long day on the road, the clean and comfortable stay was exactly what we needed. The next morning, we were ready to explore Goa. Our plan for the day was simple — explore Panjim during the day and return to Colva in the evening to enjoy the beach and sunset. Our first stop was the iconic **Immaculate Conception Church in Panjim**, one of Goa's most recognisable landmarks. The beautiful white church and its famous staircase make it one of the most photographed spots in the city. From there, we continued exploring the streets of Panjim and experienced the unique Portuguese influence, colourful architecture and artistic side of the city. By lunchtime, Goa's famous seafood was calling! We headed to **Konkani Canteen**, known for its authentic Goan-style food. We ordered prawns as a starter along with a delicious **Surmai Thali**. After spending the afternoon exploring Panjim under the Goan sun, we decided to take a break and head back to our room for some rest. Later in the evening, once the weather became more pleasant, we headed towards **Colva Beach**. We spent some time by the beach and enjoyed a beautiful Goan sunset. After sunset, instead of heading straight back, we decided to explore the local area around Colva and experience the evening atmosphere, streets and local vibe. We eventually stopped at a local restaurant near Colva for dinner and ended the day on a relaxed note. This Chiplun-to-Goa journey was not just about reaching another destination. It was about the drive, the Konkan landscapes, discovering Panjim, trying authentic Goan seafood, relaxing at the beach, watching the sunset and simply enjoying the slower pace of Goa.
