Spider Crabs reveal more!

The Spider Crab march and aggregations are only half the story on Spider Crabs. Here I attempt to show a little more about them and the effect they have on the environment.. Spider crabs like current prone areas .These currents and wave movement assist the moulting process. From about April Rays start to follow the aggregating Crabs and will eat all individual ones that moult . Its better to moult when most of the Crabs are doing the same. This happens in May and or June. As they move around they disturb all sorts of animals from warty prow fish to Angel sharks(middle section)and they are constantly threaten by Stingrays(end section).
