Lyrics: [Intro] Rasta soldier (oh-oh), marching on Rasta soldier, Jah make me strong Ooh, ooh-ooh, marching on Rasta soldier, I keep on [Verse 1] Born in the valley where the river runs dry Mama gave me courage and a fire in my eye No gun in my hand, I carry the word Fighting with the truth so the people get heard [Pre-Chorus] Left, right, through the fire and the rain (oh-oh) Left, right, gonna break every chain [Chorus] I'm a Rasta soldier, soldier of love Guided by the light from the Most High above Rasta soldier, never gonna run Marching with the people till the battle is won Ooh, Rasta soldier (soldier) Marching on, marching on [Verse 2] They tried to break my spirit, tried to steal my name But roots grow deeper every time it rains Armour made of faith and a heart made of gold Every step I take is a story untold [Pre-Chorus] Left, right, through the fire and the rain (oh-oh) Left, right, gonna break every chain [Chorus] I'm a Rasta soldier, soldier of love Guided by the light from the Most High above Rasta soldier, never gonna run Marching with the people till the battle is won Ooh, Rasta soldier (soldier) Marching on, marching on [Bridge] From the mountain to the sea (marching on) Every soldier must be free (marching on) Lay down the hate, pick up the song Together we're a million strong [Outro] Rasta soldier (oh-oh) Marching on, Jah make me strong Rasta soldier, marching on Credits: Song: Rasta Soldier Produced by Block Recording Written by Block Recording © 2026 Block Recording.
