This is my interpretation of the opening sequence for Timothy Dalton's UNMADE fourth and final James Bond movie based on the said script. PREMISE This opening sequence is the expanded version of the actual script. And on that script its plain and simple. A Double agent is enters a hotel with another female escort and as it turns out the female escort is an assassin. However female would be assassin was hesitant. And before the Double Agent could convince her, he was shot by a sniper. It was Bond, who shots the double agent from a distance. Seconds later, hearing the building securities approaching , 007 makes his daring escape. Jumping off the building he then parachutes away from the guards. Later James Bond is in a bar drinking his stress away while a party celebration is taking place in the background. Bond is approached by a young beautiful lady . She introduces herself simply as "Veronica". James Bond then gives his usual introduction, "Bond, James Gond." To which (in my version) Veronica gives him, perhaps the most wittiest response / reaction to a James Bond introduction. Development Background Under his contract, had Timothy Dalton returned for a third Bond film ( GOLDEN EYE or PROPERTY of A LADY depending on the sources you believe) a fourth and final James Bond movie script was already waiting. REUNION WITH DEATH (Maybe this is just a working title?) contains a pre-title sequence, that has 007 on a mission to assassi8 a double agent. His target was with a girl inside a Trump Tower like hotel. Bond shoots the Double Agent and then quips "That's for Double-O 6!". Double O seven then escapes the guards by parachuting. He then meets a girl (Attorney Veronica) who asks who he was. James Bond then gives the iconic "Bond, James Bond" introduction. This last part is an obvious rehash from the Living Daylights pre title sequences . What I particularly notice was that this pre-title sequence was very short . Perhaps, intentional to allow creative inputs and modifications from the Director, cast and crew. And from that cue, it encourage me to incorporate my own ideas, and adjustments As I was developing this project what really concerns me, was the lack of a clear, urgent, justification for the shot. My only reference was when Bond said "That's for Double-O 6!". And from here I rea;ized a quick back story was necessary to justify Bond's mission. As for the title sequence, , I could not find a suitable song.that has "REUNION" or "DEATH" and has that James Bond vibe . So instead, I chose a song that best fits Timothy Dalton's version of 007. Particularly, since Dalton represents James Bond of the 80s. After searching through YouTube I eventually chose the song "Policy of Truth" by Depeche Mode.
