Explore the beautiful Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden in Olinda with me, around a 50 km drive east of Melbourne in Victoria’s cool-climate highlands.
Sitting at approximately 500 metres above sea level, the garden is known for its spectacular seasonal displays of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, magnolias and daffodils. We will wander through flowering cherry trees and colourful hydrangeas, surrounded by lush greenery and the fresh mountain air.
Beyond the Chelsea Flower Show winning Australian Native Garden, the surrounding Dandenong Ranges feature towering Mountain Ash trees, tree ferns and fern-filled gullies, creating a cool, temperate rainforest atmosphere.
