Deep in the heart of the PA Wilds sits Black Moshannon State Park, a place unlike anywhere else in Pennsylvania. Surrounded by dark, tea-colored waters and miles of forested trails, I spent a few days here staying in one of the park’s modern cabins, a warm and comfortable base in the middle of a winter wonderland. From frozen bogs and snow-covered pines to peaceful mornings by the lake, this trip was the perfect escape into one of Pennsylvania’s most unique and scenic state parks.
