Ferry Back To Scotland | Arriving At Garlieston Caravan And Motorhome Club Site

We take the ferry back from Larne in Northern Ireland to Cairnryan in Scotland. We spent two nights at one of favourite sites, Garlieston Caravan and Motorhome Club site in Dumfries and Galloway. ▶ PLEASE NOTE: We chose the shortest route possible to get to and from Northern Ireland because Jenny has suffered bad seasickness in the past and we didn't want Poppy our Westie to spend too long in the motorhome. The crossing took 2 hours and cost £367 return, which we paid three years ago. Poppy was completely unfazed by the crossings, which she spent snoozing in her travel crate in the motorhome. At the time of filming (08/09/2022 to 25/09/2022) although Animal Health Certificates are required, we didn't get one because no checks were being carried out on pets being transported to and from Great Britain and Northern Ireland since the Northern Ireland Assembly suspended checks in 2021.
