⚓ CORRECTION — Oct 25, 2026: In the original cut of this video I said MSC Seashore's Yacht Club is the biggest in the fleet. We double-checked: it's one of the biggest at 131 suites — the largest Yacht Clubs are on MSC's World-class ships (World Europa and World America), with 152 suites. That line has been edited out of the video. The rest is exactly as it happened. — Brennan
Three times. That's how many times we've sailed in MSC's Yacht Club — twice on MSC Seashore out of Port Canaveral (April 2024 with the family, November 2025 just the two of us) and once on MSC Grandiosa in Europe, out of Rome. People keep asking if Yacht Club is worth the money. Here's everything nobody tells you, and my honest answer at the end.
We didn't even book Yacht Club the first time. We'd booked an aft room with a wraparound balcony, got MSC's upgrade email, did some research, placed a LOW bid — and it was accepted the next day. Best decision we ever made. If you ever get that email: bid low.
Inside the ship within the ship: your own restaurant, lounge and pool deck. A butler who walks you to your reserved seats at every show, free room service (even drinks), a fridge stocked with what you actually drink, and a turndown every night with water and chocolate from the ship's own chocolate shop. Drinks that are never watered down and made as strong as you want — if it's not on the menu, they'll make it anyway. The best pizza at sea. And at Ocean Cay, MSC's private island, the Yacht Club follows you off the ship: its own beach, its own shuttle, and its own restaurant on the island.
Two details nobody mentions: that turndown chocolate comes from a real chocolatier on board — Venchi 1878 on Seashore, Jean-Philippe Maury on Grandiosa, made fresh on the ship — and Ocean Cay used to be an industrial sand-mining site before MSC hauled away 7,500 tons of scrap and turned it into a marine reserve.
The honest part: figure roughly $3,000 a person for a week in the Caribbean, and it's not perfect — my video on Yacht Club excursions cancelling the night before is linked below. But our verdict after all three cruises is one sentence: we can't go back to a non-Yacht Club experience.
