LYRICS: TAKE TIME You gotta start somewhere Start with yourself Build your own dream Can’t dream for no one else When you’re caught in the middle Don’t forget to take a breath You can get to where you’re going If you ain’t there yet And don’t forget to watch the horses run Take time Take it day by day Take a little piece of job Make a little piece of pay Take it step by step In any old direction You won’t ever get an answer If you never ask the question It’s ok not to know until you do But in the meantime Take the time for you You’re already halfway there If you’re showing up More ain’t always more You already have enough Slow down for just a minute Take in the view Maybe all you’re doing Is all you need to do Don’t forget to watch the sun sink low Take time Take it day by day Take a little piece of job Make a little piece of pay Take it step by step In any old direction You won’t ever get an answer If you never ask the question It’s ok not to know until you do But in the meantime Take the time for you Don’t forget to watch your garden grow. . . #RuthieFoster #live #music #blues
