Since this is a rather weather dependent sport, we have been struggling with suitable conditions for me to complete the training flights. I had a few good tandem flight where I was in control of the glider, but what I really needed was time to do some short take offs and landings to get the feel for a small glider that I will be flying. Hickson Rd Lookout is the location that is best suited for learners, so most of our time has been spent there. I did manage to squeeze in a mountain bike ride at Glenrock MTB Trails, and just got out of the shower in time to head off for a paraglider flight. Unfortunately I had a bad end to the day on Tuesday that is going to slow me down on completing the course.
