I Had 4 Completely Different Births (And Honestly, Nothing Prepared Me For the Last One!)

I’ve given birth four times, and somehow all four of my births were completely different So in this video, I’m going through all four of my birth stories and what each experience was actually like from labor and contractions to induction, epidural, complications, recovery, and finally meeting each of my babies. I definitely had ideas about how I wanted my births to go. And, well… giving birth doesn’t always care about your plans. After four pregnancies and four deliveries, I’ve learned that there really isn’t one “right” way to give birth. So if you’re pregnant right now, getting ready for labor, thinking about a natural birth vs epidural, wondering about induction, or just terrified of giving birth in general — hopefully hearing four very different experiences from the same person gives you a little perspective. These are just my experiences, obviously. Every woman, pregnancy, labor and delivery is different.
