4k 吉久の獅子舞2018 嫁花 Lion dance of Yoshihisa

高岡海側の小矢部川と庄川に挟まれた地域にある吉久。現在でも50棟あまりの伝統的な町家が残されています。 江戸時代、加賀金沢藩の領内収納米を集める吉久御蔵があり、米の集積地として栄えました。 吉久の獅子舞は、加賀獅子の流れを汲みながらも、豪快な舞が特徴的。伝統を踏まえつつも創作的な演舞にも力を入れており、県内外の獅子舞競演会やイベントに積極的に参加するだけでなく、他地域の後継者育成にも取り組んでいるとのこと。 The lion dance of Yoshihisa is performed on third Saturday of October, every year. Lion dance of night is performed in front of house where built newly and one of family got married, etc. from about 6:30pm to 24:00, and final dance is performed at Yoshihisa community center. More than 50 traditional houses in the town are still left in Yoshihisa and Art Festival, called “ Samanoko Art in Yossa” is held with lion dance until next day, Sunday.
