The gun lure is an advanced mechanic used to manipulate NPC's movement and eventually isolate them. How the Gun Lure Trick Works : Drop an illegal weapon (like a gun) in an NPC's line of sight. If a civilian or non-guard sees it, they will turn around to report it to a security guard. If you pick the weapon back up right as they turn or before they finish securing help, the NPC will pivot and follow Agent 47 personally to complain or warn you about weapon safety. You can lead them across the map into wherever you want.
