6.5 PRC vs the old school 6.5 Rem Mag HD 1080p

I love the 6.5 Rem mag and its near 264 Win Mag performance with less recoil, blast and better barrel life; how does the new 6.5 PRC compare? With over 2 dozen caribou with the 6.5 Rem mag I have a good baseline for absolutely stellar performance. Is the 6.5 PRC in the same league?
