TATT's 40th ICT Open Forum - AI in the Classroom: Enhancing Learning or Replacing Thinking?

The Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago hosted its 40th ICT Open Forum titled “AI in the Classroom: Enhancing Learning or Replacing Thinking?” on Monday 21st September 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., live on CNC3. This Forum provoked a conversation about whether there is a balance between leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a powerful educational tool and preserving the critical cognitive skills education is designed to develop, or whether one outweighs the other.
