JVC CX-F7K Portable Cassette Player

A very unexpected video for a very unexpected acquisition. My former landlord gave me a free box of "old stuff" they found while cleaning house, and one of the things in that box was this mid-80s JVC cassette player, model CX-F7K. Seeing no other videos on YouTube of the F7K and only one video of the radio-less sister model F5K (   • JVC CX-5K 1980's cassette player tear down...  ), I felt obligated to share this very interesting tape player with the world. It's a bit scratched up and dirty, but it is fully intact with no missing parts and no battery corrosion. Also, it works...albeit with some significant wow & flutter (most likely needs lubrication and a new belt). But, it at least works well enough to provide a brief demonstration for the purpose of this video. I typically don't collect vintage audio equipment (actually, I NEVER have). But, this is definitely a piece of gear I'm gonna hang on to!
