Kevin Gates ft Kehlani - Cold Summer (Lyrics Video)

“Cold Summer” is a dark Southern trap record about the price of becoming successful. The story follows a young man who grows up watching his mother struggle with rent, bills, and an empty refrigerator. He turns that pressure into motivation, but success brings betrayal from someone he once trusted. Instead of letting anger control him, he learns discipline, boundaries, and the importance of protecting the person he was before the money. A powerful Kevin Gates type concept built around pain, family, loyalty, betrayal, ambition, and survival. ⚠️ Disclaimer: This is a fan-made concept inspired by contemporary Southern rap themes and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or performed by Kevin Gates. #kevingates #kehlani #southerntrap #melodicrap #trapmusic #streetrap #emotionalrap #rap2026 #IStillChooseYou #pressure #kevingatestype #southerntrap #southernrap #melodicrap #trapmusic #streetrap #emotionalrap #aggressiverap #darktrap #motivationalrap #rap2026 #newmusic
