Salmon fishing Norway🇳🇴Epic battle with huge atlantic salmon! Even takes me down the river’s rapids!

Join me as I continue my adventure in Arctic Norway, this time in search of the beautiful Atlantic salmon and a crystal clear river. I will be spin fishing and I hook into an absolute monster! Disclaimer * I do not recommend getting into the river like I did following the salmon, there were some rapids and it knocked me off my feet a couple of times. It looks more dramatic on camera however it still was a silly choice and definitely do not think anyone should do this, I’ll be making a safer choice in future and just losing the salmon. Also I’m getting comments talking about how to handle Atlantic salmon properly during catch and release. I understand how to handle salmon correctly. Such as to use a net and keep the fish in the water etc. I caught many salmon during my couple of days at this river and only filmed a small portion which is shown in the video here. The ones not filmed in this video that I released were all handled with care and with a net and kept in the water. In my video, the first salmon that I pulled onto the bank was going to be kept but jumped back in before I could keep it. The one that I netted was kept. The one that I pulled onto the rocks by the estuary was going to be kept until I realised it was a farmed salmon which had scales falling off and fins and tail all chipped away so I did not want to eat that as farmed salmon are disgusting things. The last salmon I landed after being in the river was kept in the water the entire time and left to recover in the current with its head help up stream and supported until it kicked away. Perhaps I should have explained this better in the video however that’s why I’m explaining it here. Thank you.
