Pure Groove Voyager - Born From the Groove

Feel that rhythm Straight from the roots… Born from the groove… yeah… Back in the days, on the corner of the street Voices rising up, turning struggle into heat Claps on the two and four, bodies moving free Every heartbeat talking like a deep melody From the church to the block, they were shaping the sound Turning pain into gold, lifting souls off the ground Every bassline carried stories no book ever told Every note a revolution, fearless and bold They took the night and made it shine Turned every rhythm into a lifeline From soul to funk, they paved the way And the boogie rose up to say We’re born from the groove, from the fire, from the fight From the hands that shaped the rhythm in the heart of the night We’re born from the groove, from the struggle turned to light Boogie funk forever, let it rise, let it shine tonight Synths started glowing like a brand-new dawn Drum machines kicking with a future tone Brothers and sisters making magic in the dark Turning every small room into a spark LA to Detroit, NYC to the Bay They built a new language that still speaks today A celebration rising from the roots of the past A sound made to free you, made to make it last They took the night and made it shine Turned every rhythm into a lifeline From soul to funk, they paved the way And the boogie rose up to say We’re born from the groove, from the fire, from the fight From the hands that shaped the rhythm in the heart of the night We’re born from the groove, from the struggle turned to light Boogie funk forever, let it rise, let it shine tonight Feel the echo of the past in the kick and the snare Hear the voices of the legends still floating in the air They turned joy into rhythm, turned sorrow into sound Lifted whole generations, kept their feet on the ground (Ooh, keep it rising…) Every dancefloor remembers where this magic began In the soul of a people who refused to stand They made beauty from the pain, made a future from the blues And the world keeps moving to the groove they infused (Yeah… born from the groove…) We’re born from the groove, from the fire, from the fight From the hands that shaped the rhythm in the heart of the night We’re born from the groove, from the struggle turned to light Boogie funk forever, let it rise, let it shine tonight (Shine tonight…) Born from the groove, from the groove, from the groove Let the rhythm keep on lifting you Born from the groove, from the groove, from the groove Boogie funk forever, shining through Uh… keep that groove alive It’s history, it’s love, it’s pride Born from the groove… #FunkGroove #Funk #FunkMusic #FunkyMusic #PureGroove #ClassicFunk #SoulFunk #80sFunk #BoogieFunk #ModernFunk #ModernBoogieFunk #Groove #Dance #DanceMusic #Soul #SoulMusic #Disco #DiscoMusic #Rnb #Remix #80s #DiscoFunk #ElectroFunk #Cosmic #Soulful #SoulfulBoogie #NuFunk #NuDisco    / @puregroove-voyager
