This film is a commentary on the performative nature of modern identity... how easily truth can be distorted for sympathy, fame, or influence. Through Abby’s story, I aim to examine the ethical gray areas of self-made victimhood, the hunger for virality, and the unsettling ease with which a lie can take on a life of its own. What starts as a fabricated trauma quickly spirals beyond her control, raising uncomfortable questions: How far would someone go to be seen? And when does a performance become reality?
