Note: To access this stage, you need to clear both COTC 2 and Valkyrie Cat's Trial. However, the Shibalien Elite in this stage is buffed to COTC 3 magnifications. DISCLAIMER: This footage was recorded in BCU to better simulate realistic level and talent progression. Unit Levels (Talents): Manic Eraser - 20 Riceball - 35 Jiangshi (unused) - 30 Slime - 40 Li'l King Dragon (unused) - 30 Fishman - 40 Can Can - 40 (Double Bounty) Maglev - 40 Dancer - 40 (HP 3, Atk 10) Bahamut - 30 Note that level 35 is the minimum for Riceball to tank a hit from Shibalien Elite talentless and HP lv 3 is the minimum for lv 40 Dancer to tank an outer Explosion from the boss. Introducing Awakened Bahamut in his prime: Awakened Bahamut is a Floating enemy that shows some of its true potential. Stats: HP - 2,000,000 KBs - 12 Speed - 60 Range - 300 Damage - 60,000/222/222 (19,498 DPS) Abilities: 100% Explosion at 300 range on first hit _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ What is Explosion: Explosion is similar to Wave and Surge as a unique damage type. From its origin point, it creates 3 blasts extending outward. The first blast extends 75 range in each direction from the origin, then the second and third blasts extend 100 range from where the previous blast ends. The damage of Explosion is 100% damage on the first blast, 70% on the second, and 40% on the third. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Awakened Bahamut functions in a similar way as Hermit Cat does on Floor 30, posing as a somewhat easy to stall but catastrophically destructive midrange threat that you can only chip down slowly. Instead of Wave, though, Bahamut uses Explosion, which is harder to time units correctly against due to its deceptively long lingering period. Manic meatshields and very fast rushers like Fishman or Awakened Bahamut can reach Bahamut between its attacks and deal good damage. While it is possible to time Slime as well, you need to lure dangerously close to the base to do so, and triggering a rebound at the same time Bahamut lands an attack is instant death without Slow Beam or Iron Wall ready. Dumpling is faster and therefore easier to time, so it doesn't run into this issue. The only peon here is the 48 second respawn infinite Shibalien Elites, who are very problematic to say the least. The stage ends up being a repetitive cycle of chipping Bahamut then using, in order, Slime, Maglev, then Dancer to take out without taking any base damage. Make sure you send both meatshields at once in case one gets Warped. Can Can is a failsafe in case you mistime one of these. Be patient as you lure the Shibalien to your base and spawn Can Can right after Bahamut's Explosion dissipates. Recommended Ubers: Rushers Superbackliners (600+ range) Explosion Immune Reward: Unlock Awakened Bahamut Talents + 1 Cat Ticket (missions) _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Here are the available Talents for Awakened Bahamut: (Orb slot) Explosion - 10~100% chance on first hit at 200 range (235 NP) Slow Immune (100 NP) Speed - +1~10 speed (175 NP) Ok you know why you're here. Explosion is the most gamebreaking talent in the entire game and I don't say that lightly considering Can Can DB exists. In addition to effectively DOUBLING Bahamut's damage output, it also provides a lingering damage field that pierces forward, protecting Bahamut after he lands the hit. Awakened Bahamut has the highest non-conditional DPS in the game by a significant margin now. 57,607 DPS at level 30 to be exact. Bahamut is no slouch when it comes to raw damage, so even the outermost blast of the Explosion is dealing more damage than a Slime of the same level. That's NUTS! Bahamut can now act as one of the highest DPS SNIPERS in the game. None can escape Bahamut's rampage now! That's not even the full extent of Explosion though. Bahamut also gains a Talent Orb slot. Normally this would just be an aside, but Attack up orbs are extremely powerful on Bahamut. Each grade gives you an extra 5,000 damage from the main attack against the target, up to 25,000 damage at grade S. This transfers to the Explosion as well. ALL 3 BLASTS OF IT. Attack orbs are unaffected by damage modifiers. This includes negative ones such as the modifiers applied to outer Explosion blasts. Choose one trait to have it die instantly. It's genuinely that strong. You can easily farm Atk Orbs by using GCPU on Isle of Hidden Treasure for a few days. Bahamut's Slow Immune and Speed talents are not very impactful but are nice additional buffs. Slow Immune takes precedence over Speed. Bahamut now lives up to his title as harbinger of the apocalypse. He exceeds not only every Legend unit in the game, but also has a throne alongside units like Stone Cat as one of the strongest units in the game period. This unit breaks everything. Oh, he's also still frail but whatever, risk/reward is just coughing baby vs nuclear bomb now. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Music Used: The Death of God's Will - ULTRAKILL
