HOSEN TO CONTEND FOR THE FAITH Pt. 2 | Relevance, Readiness & Financial Freedom In this powerful continuation of Chosen to Contend for the Faith, we are called to rise in urgency, relevance, and responsibility in these critical times. God is still searching for men and women who will stand in the gap. In the Book of Ezekiel 22:30, He looked for an intercessor and found none. But in contrast, the prophet Isaiah responded to God’s call in the Book of Isaiah 6:5–8 with bold surrender: “Here am I, send me!” This message is a call to become that person — one who has encountered God, been transformed, and is ready to stand for the faith. We explore: What it means to contend for your relevance in the faith Rising as ambassadors of grace in a dark and declining world Responding to God’s call with boldness and urgency As written in Epistle of Jude 1:3, we are called to earnestly contend for the faith entrusted to us. This is not a passive walk — it is a life of purpose, conviction, and action. Jesus declared in the Gospel of Matthew 9:37 and Gospel of Luke 10:2 that the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. The harvest is ready — the question is, are we? This teaching challenges us to: Develop the attitude of a reaper Redeem time and remove distractions Run with endurance like spiritual athletes (Hebrews 12:1–2) Let go of weights that slow down our spiritual progress The apostle Paul’s life, as reflected in First Epistle to the Corinthians, shows us the discipline required to stay focused — avoiding even permissible things that hinder purpose. Also in this message: CONTENDING FOR FINANCIAL FREEDOM We address a critical but often misunderstood area — financial freedom in the Kingdom. True financial freedom is the ability to fulfill God’s purpose without limitation. It begins with understanding God as our source and aligning with His will for provision and abundance — while remaining fully dependent on Him.
