A Rainy Sick Day Living Alone in Vietnam 🇻🇳

Hi everyone, I’m Van, 24 years old, currently living and working alone in Hanoi, Vietnam. 🌿 Today didn’t go quite as planned. I had taken a day off to go out and enjoy the city, but I woke up feeling exhausted with a sore throat. Living far away from home, falling sick by myself is honestly one of the hardest things. Instead of going out, I spent the day resting, cooking a warm bowl of bone porridge, and drinking kudzu root water just like my mom used to make for me when I had a fever. Later in the day, despite the rainy weather, I was so grateful to prepare some yogurt and fruit boxes for a customer. Even though it was a tiring and rainy sick day, receiving sweet orders and kind words from everyone reminded me that I'm never truly alone.
