Daily Prayer Thursday September 24

Daily Prayer - Thursday , September 24, 2026 Greetings in Jesus’ name! Welcome to my daily scripture reading and prayer ministry. I’d love for you to join me. Click below to watch the 10-minute video I’ve prepared for today. I hope you’ll listen to it as you get ready for your day. Remember, the ideals we’re fighting for were first captured by the writers of the Old and New Testaments thousands of years ago through God’s inspiration, and they’re just as meaningful today as they were then. We need the faith rooted in scripture to empower us to fight the unholy chaos surrounding us today. I hope knowing scripture better will inspire and encourage you. Today’s highlight: One Sabbath day Jesus was walking through some fields of grain. His followers picked the heads of grain, rubbed them in their hands, and ate them. Some Pharisees said, “Why do you do what is not lawful on the Sabbath day?” Jesus answered, “Have you not read what David did when he and those with him were hungry? He went into God’s house and took and ate the holy bread, which is lawful only for priests to eat. And he gave some to the people who were with him.” Then Jesus said to the Pharisees, “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath day.” Luke 6 Every day as I prepare these readings, I’m amazed by how God’s Word speaks to us in fresh ways to carry out God’s will for love, justice, and truth. These readings are also available on my YouTube channel. They are posted at 4 p.m. the night before. You can find them at    / @dailyprayer4now  . I’d love for you to subscribe! (You might need a Google account to do that.) I pray God blesses you in unexpected ways today! Pastor Bob
