Searching for WWI Artifacts on a Forgotten Mountain Battlefield

Today I returned to the mountains to search for traces of World War I on a forgotten battlefield hidden deep in the Carpathians. More than a century ago, soldiers of different armies fought in these remote mountains. Today, only fragments of their stories remain beneath the soil. During this search I discovered several artifacts connected to the Great War, including military equipment, ammunition-related finds, and personal items that once belonged to the soldiers who lived and fought here. Every artifact is a small piece of history that helps us better understand the events that took place in these mountains over 100 years ago. ⚠️ All finds were recovered in accordance with local laws. Dangerous items, if encountered, are never disturbed and are reported to the appropriate authorities.
