The CRKT Provoke is one of the most unique folding karambits I've ever handled. The Kinematic opening mechanism is incredibly satisfying, the ergonomics feel great, and the hawkbill blade came razor sharp. I paid $109 for this orange-and-black version, and I'm impressed with the overall quality, especially considering it's made in Taiwan. But there is one major issue I discovered on day one... The blade remains partially exposed when the knife is closed. I made the mistake of putting it loose in my jacket pocket without using the pocket clip—and when I reached into my pocket later, I cut myself. In this review, I go over the Kinematic deployment, ergonomics, blade steel, build quality, pocket clip, carry concerns, and whether I think the CRKT Provoke is worth the money. For me, this is more of a fun fidgety EDC knife than my first choice for defensive use. It's definitely a unique one for the collection!
