TRIP REPORT | Aer Lingus A320neo Cork to Heathrow

Today we fly onboard Aer Lingus A320neo in economy class from Cork(ORK) in Ireland to London Heathrow(LHR) in the UK! We explore the small airport of Cork, a modern terminal with all the amenities and great views of the ramp. Aer Lingus is a member of IAG group and use Aer Club frequent flyer program. They operate an all Airbus fleet of A320s,A321s & A330(as well as some ATRs) offering flights to both short-haul European destinations and long-haul transatlantic routes to North America. Our aircraft today is the latest generation of the A320series.The best selling commercial jet in history. Overall a nice experience with the airline's online check-in and app and the ground experience was efficient too. Onboard now, Aer Lingus keep things simple, they do not provide any service on this short flights and any food or drink is paid service. Legroom on their short haul aircraft could be better but they usually operate these aircraft in short flights to the UK. One thing they should improve for sure is their entertainment as they don't offer any kind of. No WiFi and no streaming to personal devices. Competition certainly is ahead is this aspect.They do offer universal charging ports under the seat however. Would love to try them in a long-haul route onboard their A330s,A321LR or A321 XLR at some point ! Have you flown with Aer Lingus? What route & aircraft? How was your experience?
