ScreamingWyvern Wednesdays - Dungeons and Dragons: Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession

Hello, I am a ScreamingWyvern and I've been involved with Tabletop Role Playing Games since 1984, when I was given a copy of the second edition of the Red Box Dungeons and Dragons Basic Set. I started streaming in 2023 and primarily stream TTRPG content, mostly dedicated to solo RPGs. But sometimes, I like to go back to where it all began and boot up a classic CRPG, like Pool of Radiance, or Bard's Tale, or maybe the Ravenloft game, Strahd's Possession. Last week I was brutally reminded about Save Early, Save Often when my character in 1994's Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession abruptly (and quietly) died. Like, there was no on-screen indicator that he was dead-dead; I thought he was just eepy. So I restarted. Then, in the process of being cautious about saving often, I overwrote my save file after I killed another character. It was great. Join me tonight to see what horrible loops of pain I can put myself in through sheer incompetence, or maybe some story. I know which one I'd be betting on. ScreamingWyvern - the blog, the videos, and the streams - are all intended to be welcoming and approachable for everyone who feels empathy for humanity. The use of the Trans colors and the Inclusive Pride flag are a promise that you are safe with me if you are kind.
