Skies Plus visited Diamond Aircraft’s Canadian manufacturing facility in London, Ont., for a behind-the-scenes look at how some of the company’s most recognizable aircraft are built. Diamond Aircraft has called London home since 1992. Today, its sprawling 220,000-square-foot facility produces more than 100 aircraft a year and plays a major role in Diamond’s North American operations. The London facility produces the DA20, DA40, DA40 NG and DA62, while also manufacturing instrument panels, electrical harnesses and remote stacks for Diamond aircraft. Every completed aircraft undergoes approximately three to five hours of flight testing over a minimum of three flights, with pilots checking aircraft systems, avionics, performance and stability before it is handed over to its customer. In this factory tour, we follow the manufacturing process from sheets of carbon fibre to completed aircraft. 🎥 Tivoli Films ___________________________________________________ Find us here: Instagram:   / skiesmag   Facebook:   / skiesmag   Linkedin:   / 18353319   TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/discover/skies... ___________________________________________________ #diamondaircraft #aviation #aircraft #canadian
