2008-2015 Lexus RX350 Alternator Replacement

It finally happened! The Lexus almost left me stranded! Pulling into the neighborhood the battery light flashed on the dash and I lost power steering! I did the quick fix and had put a new battery in the car right before I went out of town. I get back and completely forgot I had an issue prior to my work trip! I tested the alternator output right at the alternator and it was intermittently putting out 8 volts. Alternator left the chat. I know my how to's are a bit long winded and lengthy.
