Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, reimagined for handpan, loop station, and effects pedals. This performance was recorded live during the opening ceremony of the Shenzhen International Museum of Art (SIMoA). The arrangement was built entirely in real time using a single handpan, layered through live looping and processed through a chain of effects pedals. Audio was captured using two Muling MP-1 contact condenser microphones mounted directly on the instrument, allowing the full range of the handpan to be preserved while maintaining clarity and detail throughout the signal chain.
