WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
You will begin with authorization, threat modeling, rules of engagement, and a safe local lab. You will then practice low-impact reconnaissance and evidence handling, packet and protocol analysis using sanitized metadata, local web testing with proxy and redirect-safety controls, input-validation defenses for SQL injection and XSS concepts, identity and access-control testing, safe vulnerability validation in a disposable sandbox, Python security automation with JSON and SARIF output, detection engineering with normalized events and port-burst logic, and a final scope-to-report assessment.
The course includes executable coding artifacts such as lab_inventory.py, Nmap XML-to-CSV parsing, pcap_summary.py, request_replay.py, secure validation examples, authz_api.py, safe_audit.py, SARIF severity gating, a normalized-event evaluator, and build_report.py for deterministic capstone reporting.
