I'm Blessed by Friendly Womack

Friendly Womack, the last of the Womack Brothers, and a friend of mine sings a beautiful Gospel song entitled, 'I'm Blessed'. The words of this song can apply to anyone that has chosen the straight and narrow road and is living in the world today. However, as I listen to the words and thought about the Journey Friendly has been on for so many years, it dawned on me, he could be telling his story. From his early childhood in W. Virginia and Cleveland to sitting back in that soft new chair in Arkansas today, he has been Blessed. While reading his new book, "Journey to Fame" I reflected on he and his four brothers and the long journey they all traveled, and Mr. Friendly Womack Jr. is the last one still with us. A wonderful song, sung by a dynamic singer, and a message broad enough and powerful enough to have special meaning to many of us. Now that I think about my personal journey, I too am blessed!
