How to set the points gap on your distributor & why I can’t do this on my 29 Model A Roadster

We have been asked how to set the points gap in the distributor, so today I will show you how to check the points gap, how to tell if the gap is too narrow or too wide, how to fix it and what to do if each gap doesn’t match. I will also explain why I can’t set points gap on Roadie my 1929 Ford Model A Roadster. Ford Model A’s are such simplistic vehicles and therefore easy to work on including the distributor!
