BMW E30 Project ep2 - Hood strut and Rust Converter

In this episode, I start small by installing a hood strut to hold the bonnet upright without using an umbrella! I also temporarily stop the rusting by applying rust converter - will come back to the rust problem after I'm one with the engine, steering rack, transmission (oil leak), and wheels! This is my 1991 BMW E30, 318i, with M40 engine. Right hand drive, made in Malaysia. I am restoring it on my own, right here at home, in my porch, with some hand tools. The plan is to get the car to a "good working condition" so that I can use it as my main / only car.
