That's how I'd need to play if I don't have anyone. At level 1 you need to make the opponent have 2 or less lines in order to live the 2 minutes. Swap the controller after. Maybe it's easier/faster doing it midway so there are ore clears at the same time but swapping controllers mid run feels awkward.
