Cologne Marriott Hotel Grand Executive Suite Room Tour Köln

Tour of a Grand Executive Suite (No. 527). May 2018. I like to try out different room categories when re-visiting a hotel. After two stays in "Deluxe Rooms", which are the standard rooms, I booked a larger "Grand Deluxe Room" but finally found myself in a suite, thanks to an upgrade :) Location of the hotel: 5 min walk to central station and to the Cologne Cathedral. The Rhine River is just around the corner, as well as the Hohenzollern Bridge, getting you to the other side of the river, from where you have a great view of the city panorama, especially from the viewing platform of the Triangle building (especially recommendable at sundown because the skyline of Cologne is west). The Cathedral also has an observation deck and you get a more close-up view of the old town and the city centre from there, but you must climb up 533 steps ;-) !
