The project is an impressive piece of art as validated by the select few who have heard the 12 tracker album (with a bonus, intro and a skit.) The multi genre album projects a soulful essence harkening back to some of the most iconic voices of the scene from Niniola, Praiz to Harrysong and Becca, still embodying a raw uniqueness fully present in the now, the acclaimed singer/rapper/media personality/producer has managed to successfully alchemize a cross-section of musical styles – Pop, hip-hop, and dance – into a solid, undeniable, irresistible almost “genre-less sound.” A rabid worldwide fan base, praise from a host of critics have all cemented VJ Adams' place as one of the most premier artists on the music scene today. 'Perception' is a follow up to the 'Pursuit of Happiness' project - an impeccable build up that sees contributions from M.I. Abaga, Reminisce, Mr. Eazi and a host of others.
