Welcome back to City Girl Village Life Africa ❤️🌿 Today, Ifeoma takes us into another beautiful and peaceful day of village family life as she prepares a delicious traditional lunch of roasted ripe plantain and a flavorful village sauce. The day begins with Ifeoma bringing out the ingredients for lunch. As she gets ready to cook, she shares a beautiful and joyful moment with her co-wife, Ebere, as the two women sing, dance and enjoy each other’s company. ❤️🎶 Meanwhile, Chibuike brings out a metal grill from the kitchen and carefully places it over the traditional fireplace. Chibueze joins him to help make the fire, while Ifeoma begins peeling the ripe plantains. Chibuike later assists her with peeling, while Chibueze goes to fetch water for the family. Just when the cooking is getting started, Chidiogo and Grandma return from church, and the entire family welcomes them with singing, dancing and happiness. It is one of those simple village moments that reminds us how beautiful family togetherness can be. 🥰❤️ Chibueze and Chibuike then take charge of roasting the plantains over the open fire. They carefully turn the plantains as they roast, while also splitting firewood to keep the traditional fire burning. As the boys work around the fireplace, Ebere and little Chidiogo continue singing, filling the compound with music and laughter. 🎶🔥 Ifeoma then prepares the ingredients for her special sauce. She pounds fresh pepper and onions, creating the base for the delicious meal. After the plantains are perfectly roasted, she begins removing the burnt outer skin, with Chibueze helping her. Before finishing the meal, Ifeoma also takes time to tidy up the compound before returning to the kitchen to prepare the sauce. She combines oil, ukpaka, onions and pepper to create a flavorful traditional accompaniment for the roasted plantain. While Ifeoma finishes cooking, Ebere, Chidiogo, Chibueze and Grandma continue singing and enjoying the beautiful family atmosphere. Finally, the meal is ready! ❤️🍌🔥 Ifeoma serves the roasted plantains and freshly prepared sauce in a large tray, and the whole family gathers together to eat.
