"Whoever grasps, loses. The sage does not grasp, and so he does not lose." Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching 64
The tighter you hold on, the faster it slips away. Love, success, peace of mind.
The Core Teaching:
The Law of the Open Hand is one of the oldest ideas in Taoism. A closed fist cannot receive anything new. An open hand can. Lao Tzu saw that chasing quietly pushes away the very things we want most, and that loosening our grip makes room for what is truly meant for us. This is not giving up on what matters. It is learning to hold life lightly. When you stop chasing, what belongs to you comes back.
