What happens when you invite the Southern California motorcycle community to meet at 6:30 in the morning, feed them donuts and coffee, point toward Big Bear and say, “Alright… let’s go rip some canyons”?
Apparently, you get one hell of a Sunday. 😂🏍️
The Full Throttle Moto Big Bear Ride was a MASSIVE success. What started as an idea to get some riders, shops, brands, creators, and friends together turned into a turnout bigger than I expected.
The morning started peacefully enough…
☕ Coffee.
🍩 Donuts.
🤝 Handshakes.
⛽ Gas.
You know… responsible adult motorcycle activities.
And then we got to the mountains.
That’s when everybody forgot how to behave. 😂
Pinky started doing Pinky things. Bikes were everywhere. Cameras were rolling. We split into our groups and started ripping our way through the canyons toward Big Bear.
Meanwhile, I had my own mission.
I wanted EVERYONE who came out to have something to remember the ride by, so I jumped ahead of the group, found a corner and started shooting everybody coming through.
Turns out photographing motorcycles in a canyon has one small problem:
CARS. 😂
Every time somebody came around looking like they were qualifying for MotoGP…
🚙 HELLO, RANDOM SUV.
Next time we're finding the most abandoned corner in Southern California. 😂
Eventually we made it to Big Bear, parked the bikes and did what every group of exhausted motorcycle riders does after pretending we're professional racers for an entire morning:
WE ATE.
And breakfast was absolutely worth the ride. 😂
At this point everything was going suspiciously well.
Beautiful weather.
Great people.
Great roads.
Great food.
Which obviously meant something terrible was about to happen.
And naturally…
I BROKE MY SUSPENSION. 💀😂
Because apparently riding the absolute hell out of a motorcycle loaded with camera equipment through Southern California canyons has consequences.
But here's where the day gets even better.
We still had Full Throttle Moto Bike Night that evening.
Everyone else showed up normally.
I decided that wasn't dramatic enough.
So I arrived…
ON A TOW TRUCK. 😂😂😂
Forget pulling into Bike Night looking cool.
NaviTV made the grand entrance riding shotgun with roadside assistance.
You can't script this stuff.
Meanwhile, Spike was apparently too cool to hang out with us at Bike Night 😂, but everybody else absolutely brought the energy.
The parking lot filled up. Bikes were everywhere. Competitions started. People were winning prizes. Everyone was laughing, talking motorcycles, meeting new people and just enjoying the community.
And THAT is exactly why I wanted to make this video.
This wasn't supposed to be my ride.
It was OUR ride.
IT'S NOT ME. IT'S WE.
NaviTV isn't supposed to be a camera pointed at me all day.
NaviTV is YOU.
It's the rider throwing a bike into a canyon corner.
It's the person doing something ridiculous in the parking lot.
It's the shops keeping our motorcycles alive.
It's the companies supporting events like this.
It's the riding groups bringing 10, 20, 30 people with them.
It's the random person who showed up alone and left with 20 new friends.
I just happen to be the idiot carrying all the cameras. 🎥😂
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who rode, volunteered, donated, sponsored, promoted, helped organize, brought prizes, or simply showed up and gave this event the energy it had.
Special thanks to Full Throttle Moto, Drag Specialties, Twisted Society, Law Tigers IE, Cycle Smiths, Freedom Performance, Street Ink Printing, Teamster Professor, and everyone else who contributed prizes, giveaways, time, energy and support.
And most importantly…
THANK YOU TO EVERY RIDER WHO SHOWED UP.
You made this vlog.
You gave me something worth documenting.
You gave the cameras something worth pointing at.
And you reminded me why I started NaviTV in the first place.
I want to document Southern California motorcycle culture as it actually happens — the bikes, the personalities, the shops, the rides, the stupidity, the breakdowns, the friendships and those completely unplanned moments that end up becoming the best parts of the story.
We rode Big Bear.
We ripped canyons.
We ate breakfast.
Pinky did stunts.
I photographed everybody.
We gave away prizes.
We threw a Bike Night.
And I somehow managed to break my suspension and arrive at my own event on a tow truck.
I'd call that a successful Sunday. 😂🏍️🔥
If you see yourself in this video, DROP A COMMENT WITH YOUR BIKE!
If I caught you in one of the canyon shots, let me know.
And if you missed this ride…
Don't miss the next one.
Because apparently when this community gets together, there's absolutely no telling what the hell is going to happen.
WELCOME TO NAVITV. 🎥🏍️
IT'S NOT ME. IT'S WE.
