C'mon Fender, For $1900 I Want A Better Jazzmaster

The new 2026 American Professional Jazzmaster is finally here and today we're unboxing it and putting it through the wringer to see if it really lives up to all the hype it’s generated among the offset community ever since the leaks first dropped. There are some things about this that are very exciting indeed. But how much has actually changed from the American Professional II? We're going to take a look at the new Classic Gear J bridge and the Panorama vibrato, as well as get a chance to hear the new V-Mod III pickups with this very familiar wiring configuration. As always I’ll be sharing with you my most candid and honest thoughts and by the end let you know, at least based on first impressions, whether or not this is a Jazzmaster I’d recommend buying new.
