My unfiltered Tyrol & Stelvio review

When most people think of Italy, they picture rolling vineyards, cypress trees and Mediterranean villages. South Tyrol is nothing like that. Tucked away in the Italian Alps, it feels more Austrian than Italian, with dramatic mountain landscapes, alpine villages and roads that seem to go on forever. And that's not a criticism, in fact, it's exactly why I love it. It's become one of my favourite parts of Italy to cycle in, offering incredible climbs, beautiful scenery and a completely different side of the country that I don't think enough people experience. In this vlog, I share a week of exploring South Tyrol with a group of girls for a Moloko Escape, from scenic rides and mountain hikes to great food, cafés and unforgettable views. Unfortunately, a shoulder injury meant I couldn't ride the Stelvio or the Dolomites on this trip. I still talk about why they're so special and share some of the experience, and if you'd like to see us ride the Stelvio properly, I've linked our full Stelvio video from last year below. We'll also be back in September to film both the Stelvio and the Dolomites again.
